Intuition means – The act or faculty of knowing or sensing without the use of rational processes. A perceptive insight, a sense of something not evident.
Natural processes are evident, its something you can see, touch or feel – examples of natural processes are your five basic senses such as Sight, smell, touch, sound, and taste.
Our intuition is the sixth sense. It is not a rational process. Your intuition comes from the true heart, not the head….. and when you are in doubt….choose the heart!

Is Intuition always right?
I wish it were all easy to explain but the answer to this question is yes and no. Your purest intuitions are always right. But, how do we know if it’s pure? It takes knowledge and a lot of practice. Simple logic and emotions can get in the way and deceive you. What you think is your intuition may be just wishful thinking.
Is logic always right?
absolutely not! We can calculate, think about and figure things out in detail, only to still have our plans fail. Just because it sounds logical doesn’t always mean it’s right.
We somehow expect our intuition to be perfect, even if we are not knowledgable in using our gut instincts. I know that I am far more aware of my intuition now that I am older then when I was young. Intuition is not magic.
The most difficult part of learning how to use your intuition is to determine which is wishful thinking and which is intuition. We must learn how to separate the two.
Pay Attention to your senses! Ask questions of yourself. Am I really just hoping this will happen or am I using my past experiences as a lever to what I think is going to happen?
Ways to identify your true intuition
1. Tune into your body– Your body is the key, listen to the way you are feeling, your emotions.
2. focus or meditate – sit quietly, do something that calms you such as listening to music, walking in the woods, reading quietly.
True intuition will give you the feelings of –
relaxation, openness, joy, a sense of belonging, lack of doubt. clear understanding, inspiration and a profound sense of knowing what you need to do.
Beware if you have emotions of fear, anxiety, worry, neediness, closing down of your clarity. these are the signs of wishful thinking that can cloud your judgement quickly.
Practice, practice practice…..listening to your body and feelings.
Inner calm fosters true intuition.
If you are experiencing conflicting emotions and imput about something, the best thing to do is to wait. No matter what the situation, your intuition will stay with you, you can afford to wait for your inner peace and clarity.
A physical object is so easy to know and understand. But a six sense takes practice and knowledge of your body and your inner spirit.
